Matt Bullen, Flix Brewhouse Frisco / Little Elm Head Brewer

Originally from the Los Angeles area, Bullen relocated to the Dallas area in 2015. In 2022, he joined the Flix Brewhouse Frisco brewing team under head brewer Eric Todd. Bullen was promoted to head brewer of Mansfield in 2023 and moved over to Frisco Little Elm in 2024.

Bullen really enjoys the science behind brewing and feels passionate about his craft. He looks forward to bringing both classic styles and experimental brews to the Frisco / Little Elm lineup. When Bullen isn’t brewing beer, he likes to spend quality time with his 5-year-old boy.

Josh Miller, Flix Brewhouse National Brewery Operations Manager

      Josh started with Flix Carmel in August of 2015 as an assistant brewer. Josh learned about brewing while in an organic chemistry class at Purdue University. This immediately became a hobby of his and he spent the next few years home brewing and learning about brewing while in school and out of school. Following Purdue, while trying to get a brewing job, he worked for a Food and Chemical manufacturing laboratory. When Flix was hiring a new assistant in the fall of '15, they were looking for a brewer with lab experience, and so Josh got the job! Josh was assistant with Flix Carmel until September of 2017, when he went to open a brewery in the town he and his wife were currently living in. During Covid he then went to work with a brewery equipment engineering firm. When he heard Flix Carmel was reopening and looking for a new head brewer, he jumped at the chance! In his spare time, Josh does some serious gardening, raises Chickens, Ducks, and Turkey, and makes wine and cider.
